Tutorial Backup Recovery Oracle 11g , Enterprise Manager

Berikut yang perlu anda lakukan untuk melakukan backup restore, recovery di Oracle 11g menggunakan Enterprise Manager dimana meliputi konfigurasi (Flash Recovery Area + Mode Archive, Recovery Setting, Backup Setting), silahkan Anda praktekkan

Flash Recovery Area dan mode ARCHIVELOG 

Flash Recovery area dibutuhkan saat anda melakukan proses backup recovery untuk mode archivelog. Flash recovery area juga dikenal dengan istilah fast recovery area

Lokasi Flash Recovery Area seharusnya tidak berada satu tempat dengan database working area

Berikut konfigurasi flash/fast recovery area dan Archivelog Mode

 

1.         Melalui Command prompt perbesar size dari backup and recovery area, dengan perintah

sqlplus system/<password>

alter system set db_recovery_file_dest_size=8G scope=both;

exit

 

2.         Buat folder flash_recovery_area melalui command prompt, contoh:

C:\> set ORACLE_BASE=d:\app\administrator\

cd $ORACLE_BASE

mkdir flash_recovery_area

 

 

3.         Log in ke  Enterprise Manager Database Console melalui browser , gunakan username SYS SYSDBA. Click Login.

 

4.         Click Availability setelah login web

 

5.         Pilih  Recovery Settings di  Backup/Recovery Settings section.

 

6.         Recovery Setting Page muncul dan perhatikan settingan yang tertera

Flash Recovery Area Location: d:\app\administrator\flash_recovery_area
Flash Recovery Area Size: 8 GB

 

7.         Scroll ke atas . Check ARCHIVELOG Mode untuk mengubah ke mode Archivelog. Click Apply.

 

8.         Untuk verifikasi isikan user dan password windows (OS) login Anda. Click Continue.

 

9.         Sebuah pesan akan muncul, untuk menyelesaikan perubahan mode maka anda perlu shutdown database, Click Yes untuk  shut down instance dan melakukan restart.

 

10.       Untuk restart database anda akan diminta isikan user dan password windows dan database anda . Click OK.

 

11.       Restart Database:Confirmation page akan muncul. Click Yes untuk  shut down instance dan melakukan kembali restart.

 

12.       Halaman restart database kembali muncul. Click Refresh untuk login ke Enterprise Manager Database Control dan  login kembali ke Enterprise Manager begitu  database telah selesai restart.

 

Backup Settings and Policy

Anda dapat mensetting backup dan beberapa policy terkait lokasi backup, bagaimana proses backup, waktu melakukan backup dan lainnya.

1.	Click Availability di home page.
2.	Pilih  Backup Settings dibagian Backup/Recovery Setup section.
3.	Scroll ke the Host Credentials di halaman Backup Settings. Isikan operating system username dan password. Scroll ke atas ke bagian Disk Settings.
4.	Biarkan nilai tetap 1 di Parallelism field. Disk Backup Location field biarkan tetap null agar menggunakan settingan flash recovery area untuk backup. Pilih Backup Set untuk Disk Backup Type. Click Test Disk Backup.
5.	Sebuah pesan sukses akan muncul apabila proses test disk backup berhasil. Selanjutnya anda akan configure backup policy settings. Click Policy to access the Policy page.
6.	Pilih  Automatically backup the control file and server parameter file (SPFILE) with every backup and database structural change. Pilih Optimize the whole database backup by skipping unchanged files such as read-only and offline datafiles that have been backed up. Pilih Enable block change tracking for faster incremental backups. Isikan nama file Block Change Tracking file. Lalu scroll kebawah kebagian Retention Policy section.
7.	Pilih Retain backups that are necessary for a recovery to any time within the specified number of days (point-in-time recovery) biarkan saja nilai hari tetap 31 days. Di bagian Archivelog Deletion Policy, Pilih Delete archivelogs after it has specified number of backups dan biarkan nilai tetap terisi "1 backup". Click OK. Anda akan diarahkan kembali ke halaman availability.

DBID dan DB_UNIQUE_NAME

Jika anda kehilangan control file atau SPFILE, Enterprise Manager dapat mengembalikannya dari backup sepanjang anda masih mengetahui DB_UNIQUE_NAME dan DBID database anda, silahkan ingat atau catat informasi DB_UNIQUE_NAME dan DBID anda terlebih dahulu

Untuk mengetahuinya lakukan tahapan berikut

1.	Click Server tab. Click Initialization Parameters di  Database Configuration region.
2.	The Current property page muncul. Ketik db_unique_name dibagian Name field dan click Go.
3.	Baris record akan muncul  db_unique_name di kolom Name, dan nilai db_unique_name akan terlihat silahkan catat/ ingat Click Database Instance link untuk kembali ke Server page.

Untuk mengecek nilai DBID:

1.	Click Control Files di Storage region pada halaman Server.
2.	Pada halaman control file yang muncul . Pilih Advanced property link.
3.	Database ID field berisi nilai DBID akan muncul. (Note: Nilai berbeda untuk setiap mesin, silahkan catat juga). Click the Database Instance link untuk kembali ke halaman server

Whole Database Backup

Keseluruhan content database mencakup datafile, redolog file, control file, parameter file dapat anda backup dengan menggunakan "Whole Database Backup"

1.	Click Availability tab. Pilih Schedule Backup dibagian Manage.
2.	Halaman Schedule Backup page akan muncul. Di bagian Customized Backup, Pilih Whole Database. Isikan username dan password di bagian host credential. Click Schedule Customized Backup.
3.	Halaman Schedule Customized Backup: Options akan muncul . Pilih  Full Backup di bagian Backup Type. Pilih Online Backup di bagian Backup Mode. Pilih Also back up all archived logs on disk dibagian Advanced. Click Next.
4.	Halaman Schedule Backup: Settings akan muncul . Pilih Disk or Tape sesuai yang telah anda tentukan sebelumnya. Click Next.
5.	Halaman Schedule Backup: Schedule page akan muncul . biarkan saja nilai default Job Name. Pilih  One Time (Immediately) untuk menjalankan backup job immediately atau isikan waktu eksekusi yang anda rencanakan , Click Next.
6.	Halaman Schedule Backup: Review akan muncul. Click Submit Job.
7.	Backup Submit Successful message akan muncul . Click View Job untuk lihat status dari backup.
8.	Scroll ke bagian bawah halaman. Didalam table anda akan melihat status dari setiap proses backup can view the status of the backup akan success apabila setiap fase selesai. Perlu diketahui bahwa proses ini akan memakan waktu . Lakukan Refresh halaman browser untuk melihat progress Job . Sebelum melanjutkan tahap berikutnya pastikan (Prebackup, Backup, and Post Backup) telaj selesai (successful). Click Database tab untuk kembali ke Database Home page.

Restore dan Recovery dengan "Whole Database"

Pada bagian ini anda akan belajar by using melakukan recovery dengan enterprise Manager.

1.	Pilih Perform Recovery  di bagian Manage dari halaman Availability.
2.	Halaman Perform Recovery akan appears. Di bagian bawah Recovery Scope, pilih Whole Database. Pilih  Recover to the current time or a previous point-in-time. Isikan user dan password OS anda  di bagian Host Credentials. Click Recover.
3.	Pada halaman  Confirmation yang muncul berisi indikasi bahwa instance akan di shut down dan di restart. Click Yes untuk lanjutkan.
4.	Halaman  Recovery Wizard yang muncul yang mengindikasikan instance akan di shut down dan  restart (Note: Anda harus menunggu beberapa menit untuk proses ini sampai complete). Click Refresh untuk lanjutkan tahap Recovery Wizard.
5.	Selanjutnya halaman Database Instance akan menampilkan database dalam kondisi Mounted state. Click Perform Recovery.
6.	Enter user dan password OS host credentials and click Continue.
7.	Database Login window yang muncul .isi informasi Login database dengan user sys as sysdba
8.	Halaman Perform Recovery akan muncul.Pada bagian pilihan Recovery Scope pilih Whole Database dan  click Recover kembali untuk mengulang tahapan Recovery wizard.
9.	Halaman Perform Whole Database Recovery: Point-in-time akan terlihat. Pilih Recover to the current time. Click Next.
10.	Halaman Perform Whole Database Recovery: Rename akan terlihat. Pilih No. Restore the files to the default location atau Yes. Jika anda ingin file restore ditempatkan di lokasi lain. Click Next.
11.	Halaman Perform Whole Database Recovery: Review akan terlihat. Review informasi akan munculu dan click Submit.
12.	Halaman  Processing: Perform Whole Database Recovery akan muncul.
13.	Lalu anda akan menerima konfirmasi bahwa aktifitas recovery sudah sukses. Click Open Database.
14.	Click OK.
15.	Isikan informasi login seperti yang sering anda lakukan . Click Login. Selanjutnya anda akan masuk kembali ke halaman Availability.         cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin

    (use whatever dir you found the keytool in)

        keytool -genkey -v -keystore C:\DIR\APPNAME.keystore -alias APPNAME -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 -validity 10000

    (Change DIR and APPNAME to something appropriate)

  3)  Enter the keystore password (remember this)
    Answer the questions about yourself: your name, organization, location, etc.
    DONE: The keystore will be created for your app

Remaining Steps:

    1. Upload that to PhoneGap Build.
    2. Unlock the keystore for 1 hour by entering your keystore password
    3. Build the app

This will create a release version of the .apk that can be uploaded to Google Play.

Adobe Dreamweaer CS 5.5 , not responding some how

Issue

When you try to open a document in Dreamweaver CS5 or CS5.5, it takes anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes for Dreamweaver to open it. Dreamweaver stops responding until the document opens.

Solution

Disable Dreamweaver's Resolve To IP Address feature using the instructions for your operating system.

Mac OS

Quit Dreamweaver.
In the Finder, navigate to the following location:



/Users/Your User Name/Library/Preferences


Open the Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Prefs file (CS5) or the Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5 Prefs file (CS5.5) in TextEdit.
Locate the [REMOTE DOWNLOAD] section in the file. It looks similar to the following:



[REMOTE DOWNLOAD]

remotedownloadcachesize=50

remotedownloadallow=TRUE


At the bottom of this section, add a line that says: resolveremoteurltoipaddress=FALSE

The [REMOTE DOWNLOAD] section now looks like the following:



[REMOTE DOWNLOAD]

remotedownloadcachesize=50

remotedownloadallow=TRUE

resolveremoteurltoipaddress=FALSE


Save the file, and then quit TextEdit.

Choose Start > Run (Windows XP) or click Start (Windows 7/Vista).
Type regedit and then press Enter.
In the left pane of the Registry Editor, navigate to one of the following registry keys:



CS5.5: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\Remote Download



CS5: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5\Remote Download


Click to select the Remote Download key on the left.
Choose Edit > New > String Value.
Name the new string value: ResolveRemoteURLToIPAddress
Double-click the new ResolveRemoteURLToIPAddress string value.
Enter FALSE for the value data, and then click OK.
Exit the Registry Editor.
