DAMA (the Data Management Association) is an international, vendor-independent, non-profit, technical and business professional association dedicated to advancing the Information Resource Management (IRM) and Data Resource Management (DRM) concepts and practices.
DAMA's vision is to support the global information professional community.
The mission of this DAMA is to provide a nonprofit and vendor-independent association where data professionals can ask for help and assistance; provide best practice resources such as DMBoK and DM Dictionary of Terms in mechanisms that produce DM professionals as much as possible; create a trusted environment for DM professionals to collaborate and communicate and enable chapters around the globe to utilize PEACE and interact with DAMA to benefit from all DM Professionals.
